Fear presents in many forms, it is all too common and anxiety is on the rise, due to a blend of factors. It affects health and wellbeing, personal and work performance, and quality of life, making it everyone's business. Join us to develop personal practices that will help you let go of fear based emotions and improve your response to stress.

We are going to cover the following themes through the lense of LEAF - Let-go, Empower, Action and Flourish:

  • What we mean by fear: What situations we feel fear and how it makes us feel?
  • Multi-dimensional causes of fear: Personal, intrapersonal, inter-personal, extra-personal factors.
  • The impact of fear: on health and wellbeing, performance, personal/career outcomes.
  • Improve response to stress over time: Neuroscience informed tools including Havening Techniques®, breathing techniques and introduction to a Brain Training app.
  • Inspiring the use of actionable tools to let-go/reduce excessive fear based emotions, reduce negative rumination in exchange for elavating emotions.
  • From Surviving to Thriving: The neuroscience of fear based emotions Vs Flourishing based emotions.

All live sessions will be a blend of interactive presentations and practice to bring the session and learnings to life.

This workshop is part of a programe of 2 live online workshops, a handful of webinars and workbooks and live online mastermind groups. The second online workshop being held is entitled 'From Fear to Flourishing - Time To Turn Over A New L.E.A.F.!'

About your Trainer

Jan Carpenter is an Adult Social Worker of 25 years to team manager level. Jan has developed and delivered training as part of his roles outside Social Work as well inside Social Work, various Social Work Recruitment agencies and Social Work Conferences, the LGA funded national Return to Social Work program, British Association of Social Worker, Skills for Care and Brunel University among others. Jan is certified Havening Techniques Practitioner and Trainer as well as co-author of book Winning Mindset (a best selling book on Amazon).
